Wedding: Kristen & Kevin

Elena's cousin Kristen was married last weekend in Batavia, IL to her longtime boyfriend (and family friend) Kevin. In addition to knowing both Kristen and Kevin for quite some time, I had a special connection to their wedding, since Elena was a bridesmaid and my nieces were the flower girls!

Kristen wore here mother's veil, and looked absolutely stunning in her wedding dress. What a happy couple, right?!?!

The weather, which can be a bit unpredictable in Chicago in October, turned out to be beautiful — sunny with a high of around 70 degrees! We were able to take advantage of this and shoot a bit outside before the reception. Amazing light around dusk, which was perfect to capture the simple and elegant bridesmaid and flower girl dresses... Talk about beautiful models!

Kristen is a true DIY-er... You've already seen some shots of the flowers, but check out these centerpieces and the table details!

We had a wonderful time partying it up with the fam all day, and Greek dancing into the night! Kristen & Kevin really know how to throw a party, and I'd like to wish them all the best in trying to outdo themselves after this one!
