Achal and Mark booked a simple portrait session, in order to capture the traditional attire that they were wearing to an Indian wedding. As you can see, Achal and Mark are quite the handsome couple, and they were absolutely wonderful to work with! I truly do have the best clients… Looking good, gentlemen, thank you again!

A couple of weeks ago, I had the great honor of photographing the handsome Jack Liam Ginty, whom Jenn and Brendan welcomed into the world in January. You might remember Jenn and Brendan from their amazing Nova Scotia wedding back in 2011, and to say they have done a wonderful job with little Jack would be a ridiculous understatement. It’s such an amazing feeling to see two of your friends (and clients) experience such joy!

We’re planning some follow-up shoots, so I can’t wait to share more photos of this guy!

Shot on the Contax 645 with a mix of film (Fuji Pro 400H, Kodak Portra 800, and Ilford XP2) as well as the D700 with VSCO Film.

Last weekend, I spent a beautiful afternoon with the insanely cute Sophie & Maria, literally running around Millennium Park in downtown Chicago. Stacy, Sophie & Maria’s mom, was interested in a downtown portrait session for her girls, and that’s exactly what we did.

The fall weather was gorgeous, and the girls were perfect models for their portrait session. We hit most of the “must-see” spots in the Park, including the Bean (Cloud Gate), the Lurie Garden, and the Crown Fountain. We purposely saved the fountain for last, since we knew the girls had indicated a strong desire to get wet… As you can see below, they didn’t even think twice!

All in all, a wonderful day, made even better thanks to my fantastic clients! Thanks again, Stacy!
